When people think of therapy...sometimes stigma invades their thoughts. For so many years people felt shame, sadness and fear of rejection if they admitted that they needed to talk about their problems. I look at mental health in the same way I would physical health. Important. Healthy. Vital. Embracing a seat or in other words a 45 minute time block to process, evaluate and talk through ideas, emotions and thoughts is not something that should be associated with shame...quite the contrary. Talking. Sharing. Growing. These words should be associations with therapy. It takes a strong person to seek out wellness.
